This is the baby blanket that I finished early this week. Rob came home from Northeast Heritage Music Camp with the camera, so now I can show you my newest FO!

  • Pattern: Basketweave Baby Blanket from Vogue Knitting on the Go: Baby Blankets
  • Yarn:    Lion Cotton Ease, orangeade
  • Needles: Size 7 (Addi Turbo 32")
  • Size: 33 x 33
  • Etc: I originally got the yarn for Rusted Root, but realized it was way too heavy for a summer top. So I made this blanket instead.

Last night I headed up to join Rob for dinner + the Camp recital. It was great to hear the students play - the biggest rounds of applause were reserved for those going on stage to play for the first time. It was amazing to hear the instructors that I'd been hearing about all week.

Here's Rob on stage with some of his classmates:

He's the smiling dude in the back row with the electric fiddle. It's not plugged in, that's why you can't hear him.

Me n' the boy are off from work this week. We're not traveling; just staying close to home to relax and play outdoors. And knit. Not sure if that means more posting or less. We'll see.
