&lt;P&gt;For the past few months, I would spend a majority of my time with 1 - 1.5 Gigs memory in use, which meant constant swapping to the page file (slooooooowwww).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now with RAM quadrupled, I can cruise at 1 Gig memory in use without needing to even make a cursory glance over at the page file for approval.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="1 Gig in use, and the machine sighs for lack of meaningful work.  Here I am, a brain the size of a planet..." src="http://stamper.uvm.edu/images/blog/comp/gigs.gif"&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
