Usually the snacky options on Sundays are pretty darn sketchy/uninspired. Today they had rosemary baklava, which looked good, but I didn't find out about it until I was headed out the door.

On the way back to the house, we stopped by Red Onion and got one of their famous Aloha cookies, which are possibly the best cookies in the world. Margot and I took the cookies home and ate them while drinking tea and playing cribbage. By "playing cribbage," I mean that I was happy not to get double skunked.

Anyway, no pictures of the cookies as pausing to get the camera for photos might result in the photographer capturing a flurry of crumbs flying from the corners of the mouth of the non-photographer, as both cookies disappear into the vortex. In the absence of the cookie, I will attempt a description of the Aloha cookie.

Aloha Cookies from Red Onion
- as big as a saucer and at least half inch thick
- covered in confectioners sugar
- soft cookie contains big chocolate chunks, shaved coconut, ginger and a nut that is either pecan or macadamia
