The best part about making gifts for people who don't read my blog...
Is that I can show my projects to you right away!
That's Djevellue for Addie, daughter of my friends R & D. I picked up a skein of Socks That Rock from Juno when she last destashed. Since the skein was from when the STR yardage was ...

I haven't blogged about Project Spectrum 2.0 in awhile. I love the concept of the rotating color themes. But I'm starting to think that it's merely an accident when my color choices coincide with the PS 2.0 colors.
Maybe it's because I don't think about knitting projects in terms of color. Generally I am attracted to a ...

Happy Harry Potter Eve! I still haven't decided whether or not to run into town to get my book at midnight. I have a busy day tomorrow that involves downtown so it would be more efficient to pick it up then. Since busy day precludes much reading, it would be prudent to instead get a good night's sleep, get an early start on ...

I finally organized my yarn. I found a few treasures that I forgot I had and a few that I had forgotten where I'd placed them. Best of all I got inspired to knit with what I have.

She sets her hair on Saturday night for church on Sunday. And is very particular about maintaining the curls that frame her face.
Growing up, I never saw her wear ...

I feel like there's some housekeeping to catch up on - not just in my humble abode, but on the blog, too.
First off, I had to moderate comments because a comment-spammer figured out how to get past my provider's anti-spam algorithm. I'm tired of deleting up to 70 comments/day. I appreciate your patience. I'll try to check in ...

On my last post I was lamenting that I hadn't started in on my Project Spectrum colors yet. Since then, I've started 2 new projects, both with blue, and one of them is done!
It's a blue chemo cap. Those creases from the decreases even out when it's worn. It's for no one in particular, I'll just keep it on hand for ...

I had a root canal yesterday. Since it was an emergency appointment, I thought there'd be lots of waiting and that I'd get lots of knitting done. Thankfully (or unthankfully, depending on how invested you are in my WIPs being completed) my dentist got me in and out in less than an hour. Miraculous. I only knit 6 stitches, literally.
Now I'm ...
